Manvender Bharti
COO
Manvender Bharti is the COO of GTS Ltd., responsible for developing and growing the portfolios of technical services. With a humble beginning, Manvender has established and launched the Mining Technical Services. He has an MBA in Finance from California State University, USA; an MBA from Colorado Technical University, USA; a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) from Canada; and a gold medallist from GNDU, India. He has both breadth and depth of experience in the mining and construction industry. Before joining GTS, he worked with Caterpillar in Canada, India and globally in diverse roles, including finance, supply chain, project management, sales and support, strategy, and aftermarket. He is committed to powering GTS's growth, focusing on offering reliable and value-added end-to-end mining technical solutions, ranging from geological exploration to mine closure.
Dr Akkala Surendra Babu
Chief of Technical Services
Dr Akkala Surendra Babu has over 36 years of extensive experience in the mining industry, including the mining of coal, iron ore, and other minerals. He holds a B Eng in Mining, an MBA and a PhD. He has held progressively senior positions in project development, execution, and CSR initiatives with public and private sector organizations. He is an active member of MIMA, MMGI, MEAI, IMMA, and FIE and has taken an active role in transforming numerous mining projects, developing and implementing corporate strategy, and promoting environmental stewardship with good governance in the mineral industry. As a Chief of Technical Services, he is committed to building a team of experts and inspiring everyone to work towards achieving the GTS vision.
Ramesh Kumar
Head - Exploration & Geology
Ramesh Kumar is a geologist with over 19 years of experience in early-stage resource development and brownfield projects in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. He holds a B Eng, an M Tech in applied geology, and an MBA in Environment. He has vast experience handling base metals, bulk minerals, critical deposits, and gold deposits in a variety of geological terranes. He is a certified professional with AusIMM, SAIMM, NACRI, and NABET (AEA/APA).
Malleswara Rao
Head – Mine Planning
Malleswara Rao brings over 20 years of experience in mine planning, technical studies, advisories & strategies, surveys, equipment selection & optimization and ESG solutions. He holds B Eng, M Tech and MBA degrees. He is proficient in international reporting codes and mining software. He is a certified professional with AusIMM, NABET (MPPA) and a member of MEAI. NABET (AEA/APA).
Amol Bhosale
Head - Engineering Services
Amol Bhosale has over 22 years of experience in design and engineering in the mining, power, and port sectors across Asia and Australia. He holds B Eng, M Eng, and Postgraduate Business Management degrees. He is an expert in basic and detailed design, master planning, value engineering, and project execution in material handling and process plants. He is a certified professional with NABET (TAE) and a member of MEAI.
Karthik Shankar
Head- Technology Solutions
Karthik Shankar brings over 20 years of expertise in planning, procurement, operations, reliability engineering, and technology solutions. He holds a B Eng and an Advanced Management Programme in Business Analytics. He has further upgraded his qualifications by becoming a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt and an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
Hareesh Babu
DGM – Mine Planning
Hareesh Babu is a mining engineer with over 20 years of experience in mine planning, feasibility studies, waste dump management, capital budgeting, mineral processing, slurry piping, and project management. He holds B Tech and M Tech degrees. His research is focused on rock mechanics, and he has published his findings in various publications.
Jay Prakash Narayan
DGM – Survey
Jay Prakash Narayan has over 24 years of experience in mining operations and mine surveying. He holds a Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying and an unrestricted Survey Certificate of Competency from the DGMS. He specializes in advanced surveying tools like Multi Station, DGPS, TLS, Lidar Drone Survey, Teledyne, and ArcGIS.
